Who is Deb?
Deb Evans owns and operates Deb's Classes and Expressive Arts Online. She is a 10+ year homeschooling veteran. She’s mom to Kayla, age 15, and Kristin, age 14, and wife to Mike for almost 18 years. Throughout her homeschooling adventures, Deb has taught language arts, history, photography, and more through multiple programs including Montgomery College, The Homeschool House, Seeds of Learning, Extraordinary Education, and The Lighthouse.
Deb also offers online instruction/tutoring through www.MyWritingCoachOnline.com and runs the upcoming virtual community - www.ExpressiveArtsOnline.com. She has owned Deb Evans Photography [www.DebEvansPhotography.com] since 2003, providing “contemporary, fine art portraiture in your home”.
She is History Chair for the Alexander Love Chapter of Daughters of the Revolution and Historian for the Lone Star Art Guild. She is the mentor for SuperFriends! a local social club for teen homeschoolers in Montgomery County. Deb has a BS degree from University of Texas, is a widely published writer, and has extensive, professional experience in PR and marketing, primarily from her life “before kids”.
Although Ms. Deb has high standards for her classes and expects a lot from her students, her classes are informal and fun, featuring lots of discussion and sharing
